Weeks Between Dates Calculator
Enter two dates to see the exact number of full weeks between them, plus the leftover days.
How this is calculated
The calculator counts full calendar days between your two dates, then divides by seven to get whole weeks plus a leftover-days remainder — so "100 days" becomes "14 weeks, 2 days" rather than a decimal. It's the same date math as Days Between Dates, just framed around weeks for questions like "how many weeks until my due date" or "how many weeks have I been at this job."
Frequently asked questions
How many weeks is that if it doesn't divide evenly?
The result shows the number of full weeks plus the leftover days, e.g. "14 weeks, 3 days" — it doesn't round up or down.
Is this the same as pregnancy week calculations?
The math is the same — weeks and days elapsed since a start date — but pregnancy dating conventions (counting from last period vs. conception) vary, so confirm which start date your provider uses.
Does it count the start date itself?
No — it counts full calendar days between the two dates, the same convention used by the Days Between Dates calculator.
