How this is calculated
This tool counts the exact number of calendar days between the date you enter and today, the same leap-year-safe day count used across ZenCountdown. Early on it tracks the 100-day and 6-month marks; once those have passed, it switches to tracking your actual yearly anniversary date, computed from the real calendar rather than a rounded 365-day estimate, so it stays accurate no matter how many years you've been counting.

Whatever date the two of you actually count as "official" — a first date, a first kiss, or the day you decided to be exclusive. Couples define it differently; this calculator just measures from whichever date you enter.
What milestones does this track?
The common relationship milestones: 100 days and 6 months early on, then your 1-year anniversary and every year after that — the same set most couples mark, whether or not they're married yet.
Is our relationship date stored anywhere?
No. The date you enter never leaves your browser — nothing is saved, logged, or sent to a server, and reloading the page clears it.
